Now that the Return to Rugby Roadmap has been announced by the RFU, Halifax Ladies are proud to announce they will be getting their boots back on and starting their rugby training back up again on Tuesday 30th of March at 7:30pm.
Halifax Ladies train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30pm, and are keen to get all their old players back on the pitch, as well as welcoming any new players to the fold. All levels of playing experience is welcome, with training sessions being planned to be split based on level of experience for those who might be nervous at getting stuck in at the deep end. Anyone aged over the age of 17 can train with Halifax Ladies.
In compliance with the Return to Rugby roadmap, training will exclude contact training to start and will focus on key skills. If you're looking for a fun way to get back on the exercise wagon after a long lockdown period, in a fun team environment that teaches you new skills, tests you mentally and gives you the chance to meet new people, the ladies would be happy to hear from you.
This year the team is looking to expand their team into a second team, 'The Ravens' which will give new and less experienced players the chance to develop their rugby skill further.
