Dear Halifax RUFC Members,

 

The Annual General Meeting of Halifax Rugby Union Football Club for the election of the Club officers and Club executive for the following year, will be held at Halifax RUFC, Ovenden Park, Keighley Road, Halifax, HX2 8AR on July 30th at 8.30pm.

 

All club members are invited to attend and are eligible to nominate and vote on any elections held at the AGM. The Club Executive has voted to change the club structure to have a board of directors and a Rugby Union Committee. All club officers on the Rugby Union Committee and the Board of Directors are to be elected by the membership.

 

Club Directors to be elected:

  • President
  • Chair
  • Secretary
  • Finance Director
  • Property Director
  • Marketing Director

Club Officers to be elected:

  • Rugby Safety Lead
  • Safeguarding Officer

 

Positions on Rugby Union Committee outside elected officers:

  • Men’s rugby representative
  • Ladies’ rugby representative
  • Mixed ability rugby representative
  • Event Coordinator

 

To be nominated for any position you must acquire a nomination and a second from existing club members and provide these along with your notice of intention to stand to the secretary. Notice can be sent to secretary.halifaxrufc@gmail.com.
